Terms of Service

Welcome to ARND. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ARND app and website (the "Service"). By using ARND, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use ARND
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to use ARND. If you use the Service on behalf of a venue or organisation, you represent that you're authorised to bind it to these Terms.
2. Your account
You can browse as a guest or create an account. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.
3. The Service
ARND is a discovery and payments platform that connects fans, performers, and venues around live, local music. ARND helps people find performances and facilitates tips, ticketing, and bookings, but ARND is not the performer, organiser, or venue, and does not control the performances listed.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create, profiles, show listings, reviews, and check-ins. By posting it, you grant ARND a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.
You agree not to post content that:
- is illegal, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, or infringes others' rights;
- misrepresents a performance, identity, or affiliation;
- contains spam, malware, or attempts to game discovery or credibility signals.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Payments, tips, and fees
- Real-world value. Tips to performers and tickets to live, real-world events are payments for real-world goods and services and person-to-person support, they are processed through third-party payment providers, not as digital in-app purchases.
- Platform fee. ARND charges a platform fee on transactions that flow through its payments rail (approximately 5% on tips, 10% on ticket sales, and 15% on venue↔artist booking placements). Applicable fees are shown before you confirm.
- Processing. Payments are handled by providers such as Stripe and the external payment apps an artist links. Their terms also apply.
- Refunds. Tips are generally non-refundable. Ticket and booking refunds are governed by the organiser's stated policy and applicable law.
6. Performer and venue terms
If you list shows, accept tips, or book gigs, you're responsible for the accuracy of your listings, for honouring what you advertise, and for any required licences, permits, or taxes. Verified attendance and credibility signals are derived from real activity and may not be manipulated.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with its operation, circumventing security, or using it to harm others. Attend performances responsibly and follow the law and local rules wherever you go.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". ARND does not guarantee that any listed performance will occur as described, and is not responsible for the conduct of users, performers, organisers, or venues. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARND disclaims all warranties not expressly stated.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARND will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using ARND and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as ARND evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, surfaced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
